‘Blood, Sweat and Lions’

book cover for 'Blood, Sweat and Lions' by David Lemon

NON FICTION

Adventure, pain, fear – and moments of pure magic: these are the ingredients of my 2007 walk along the southern shore of Lake Kariba . Overweight, unfit and far too old, I set out to walk 1200 kilometres through the wild Zambezi Valley, ignoring dire warnings about the dangers of such a venture.

Poignant, exciting and fast-paced, this story will bring hope and encouragement to anyone with adventure in their soul.

‘Blood, Sweat and Lions’ is the first book in my adventure trilogy. It is followed by ‘Two Wheels and a Tokoloshe’ and ‘Hobo’.

This book can be ordered directly from me.
