‘Hobo’

book cover for 'Hobo' by David Lemon

NON FICTION

One of the last unexplored stretches of open water in the world, Lake Kariba offers a tremendous challenge to the adventurous. When I rowed the lake in both directions, I was battered by storms and shipwrecked three times. I lost most of my food, holed my boat and was bitten by a poisonous snake while ashore.

And then there were the numerous close encounters with lions, hippopotami, crocodiles and buffalo – I must say I had a great time!

This is my account of danger, pain, happiness and the wonders of the natural world. It’s a must for adventure lovers of any age.

‘Hobo’ is the last book in my adventure trilogy. It follows ‘Blood, Sweat and Lions’ and ‘Two Wheels and a Tokoloshe’.

This book can be ordered directly from me.
