‘Two Wheels and a Tokoloshe’

book cover for 'Two Wheels and a Tokoloshe' by David Lemon

NON FICTION

Fried caterpillars, lions in the night and the wide smiles of Africa – all these and more, I encountered while cycling alone from Nairobi to Cape Town. I was arrested twice, beaten up by armed soldiery and menaced by hyenas. I fell off my bike on numerous occasions and went down with amoebic dysentery in Tanzania.

This is the middle story of my adventure trilogy that includes ‘Blood, Sweat and Lions’ and ‘Hobo’ – perfect reading for the armchair adventurer.
