My books

Statue and Books by David Lemon

I’ve always wanted to write. I remember first deciding I wanted to be a writer when I was a little boy, and I employed my budding writing skills selling limericks at school.

When I was 17 years old an established author told me, ‘to become a writer you either needed to go to university and get taught how to do it, or go out and learn about the world for a couple of decades and then pick up a pen’. I chose the long way round, and College Press finally published my first novel, ‘Ivory Madness’ in 1983.

Since then I have written 16 books in total, a combination of fiction and biographical adventure stories, and the next book I am planning is ‘faction’ so stay tuned!

I’ve listed some of my books that are currently available below, but you can access more information about each book if you click on the title.

All of my books can be ordered directly from me. Some are also available on Amazon, and I have included the Amazon link on the book pages where appropriate.
